Earlier this year "Tanya" Tetiana Zaitseva competed at the International Checker Hall of Fame for
the WORLD YOUTH CHECKER CHAMPIONSHIP and WON !
December 30 and 31 Tanya Zaitseva from Ukraine has challenged Alex Holmes from Sellersburg, IN, past WORLD YOUTH CHECKER CHAMPION
and a Master Checker Player for a MATCH.
Alex won his title in Barbados at the
2013 World GAYP Qualifier.
This will be the last chance
for Tanya and Alex because they both will pass the age for youth competition
next year.
This could prove to be one of the most... (If not the most) exciting game of
the year. They will be playing GO-AS-YOU-PLEASE style checkers and it should
be noted It will be... THE LAST CHECKER EVENT OF 2017 !
We invite the public to come by and watch this exciting competition between
these two youthful players as they use the power of their minds to COMPETE FOR
THE YOUTH CHAMPIONSHIP OF THE WORLD !
